The Indiana Pacers are a professional basketball team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. They are a member of the Eastern Conference Central Division of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Pacers were founded in 1967 as a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA) and joined the NBA in 1976 after the ABA-NBA merger. They have won three division titles and have made the NBA playoffs numerous times. The team has had a number of successful players over the years, including Reggie Miller, Jermaine O’Neal, and Paul George. The Pacers play their home games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
